This is an excellent rum based drink for a Halloween setting or party. Here is how to make a pomegranate mojito.

Ingredients

• 2.1 fl oz (60 ml) of pomegranate juice
  
• 2.1 fl oz (60 ml) of white rum
  
• 4.2 fl oz (120 ml) of club soda
  
• 1/2 of a lime (chopped)
  
• 2 teaspoons of pomegranate seeds
  
• crushed ice
  
• 1 teaspoon of sugar
  
• mint leaves
  
• mint sprig
  

Steps

1. Combine the lime pieces, mint leaves, and sugar in a glass. Crush and mix them together with your pestle.
   
2. Fill your glass halfway with ice cubes.
   
3. Pour the rum, pomegranate juice, seeds, and soda water into the glass.
   
4. Stir everything together with a spoon/stirrer.
   

Tips

• Making this cocktail uses the "building" technique, as you are adding or "building" ingredients on top of another. Building does not include using a cocktail shaker, but just stirring the ingredients together at the end if called for.
